Subject: I in NRI is still Indian
Hi Friends,
Most of your American colleagues at your work place must have
exercised their franchise today through "Absentee Voting". If you are
a true citizen of India, it should pinch you that you are denied the
same facility to vote in your beloved country.
Absentee voting is not just for NRIs, if passed it will have to be
provided to your friends in India who live/work at one place and are
registered at their home constituency. NRI Voting Rights is going to
be tabled in Lok Sabha in the coming winter session and we deserve it
to be amended.
Think about the impact, please sign the petition before Nov 9th. Lets
make a small effort to be proud voters, after all I in NRI is still
Indian.
